Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in analyzing project requirements and providing accurate cost estimates. Your expertise in retail math and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our projects.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze project specifications and requirements to determine materials, labor, and equipment needed
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for projects, including materials, labor, and overhead expenses
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes
- Review blueprints, drawings, and other project documentation to identify potential issues or discrepancies
- Research and source materials from suppliers to ensure competitive pricing
Skills:
- Strong mathematical skills with a focus on retail math
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
